The MaxCap 1:1 is our most efficient compact RO/DI system. A microprocessor-controlled module with an integral booster pump and automatic membrane flush lets it run at a 1:1 waste-to-product ratio — one gallon of waste for one gallon of ultrapure DI water — without compromising membrane life. It's the same low-waste technology used in our commercial PSP systems, miniaturized into a unit no bigger than a standard RO/DI.

The UHE system fills an open-air pure-water reservoir (not included) using two float-level switches. The reservoir is required to fully automate the flush cycle — skipping that plumbing voids the warranty.

Most setups run a 3:1 waste-to-product ratio on hard water and 2:1 on soft water, and can be tuned to 1:1 in high-purity feed areas or with a periodic pure-water flush. The system is built to last with field-serviceable filter housings, so you replace cartridges (not whole units) for years of dependable purity.
Note: DI water is not intended for drinking. DI resin is not made from food-grade material.
