Summary
- 30 days to request a return from the delivery date.
- 3 days to report shipping damage or an incorrect item.
- Components: 15% restocking fee. Systems: 20% restocking fee.
- All returns require an RMA number before shipping back.
- Non-US sales are final.
Order changes and cancellations
- Before shipment: Email Support@SpectraPure.com or call (480) 894-5437 to cancel or modify your order at no charge.
- After shipment: Orders cannot be cancelled once a tracking number has been issued. If the wrong product is on its way to you, refuse delivery or request an RMA after delivery.
- Ordered through a distributor (Bulk Reef Supply, Marine Depot, Amazon, eBay, etc.): Please follow that retailer's return policy. We cannot process returns on orders we did not ship directly.
- Orders incorrectly placed by the customer are subject to the standard restocking fee listed below.
Return windows
- Shipping damage: 3 days from delivery — photograph the box and contents, file a carrier claim, contact SpectraPure
- Wrong item received: 3 days from delivery — contact SpectraPure for a corrected shipment at no charge
- Change of mind / not needed: 30 days from delivery — request an RMA (restocking fee applies)
- Defective SpectraPure product: 5 years from delivery — limited warranty
- Defective LiterMeter or pump: 5 years from delivery — limited warranty
Restocking fees and refunds
- Components, filters, cartridges, parts: 15%
- Complete water systems: 20%
Refunds are issued to the original payment method only. Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the return is the result of our error.
Items not eligible for return or refund
- Products that have been defaced, modified, or physically damaged
- Products non-functional due to user error or improper installation
- Items showing any sign of water exposure
- Products with the warranty label removed or altered
- Returns shipped back without original packaging or accessories
- Special-order or custom-built products
- Bulk / high-volume orders
- Clearance items (final sale, no returns)
How to request an RMA
- Contact us within your return window: Support@SpectraPure.com or (480) 894-5437.
- We'll issue an RMA number and a return address. Returns without an RMA number on the outside of the package will be refused.
- Pack securely in original packaging when possible. Include all accessories, cables, and documentation.
- Ship with a tracked, insured carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL). The customer is responsible for shipping cost, insurance, and any risk of loss until the package is received by SpectraPure.
- Once the return is received and inspected, we'll process the refund (less restocking fee and original shipping) within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
Limited warranty
- Standard SpectraPure water-purification products: 5-year limited warranty
- LiterMeter modules and pumps: 5-year limited warranty
- Consumables not covered: pump rollers, membranes after first use, filter cartridges after first use, DI resin
The warranty is void if a product shows signs of water exposure (outside of normal use), physical misuse, modification, or tampering with the warranty label.

International orders
Due to the cost of international shipping, customs handling, and return logistics, all non-US sales are final. Warranty claims on SpectraPure-manufactured products are still honored — please contact us for parts replacement under warranty.
