Dual-purpose 10" post-filter for drinking-water systems — OCB granular activated carbon for taste/odor/VOC polishing, with calcite media to gently remineralize and raise the pH of finished RO water. Drops into any standard 10" filter housing.
What it does
After the RO membrane, the water is clean but flat — close to zero TDS and slightly acidic. This cartridge adds back a small amount of calcium/magnesium hardness to give the water a more rounded mouthfeel and bring pH closer to neutral, while the carbon stage polishes any remaining tastes or VOCs from the tank.
