BOOSTER PUMPS & DELIVERY PUMPS

SpectraPure® Booster Pump Kits are ideal for use on water sources with pressures below 40 psi (2.8 bar) such as private wells, gravity feed water systems and high rise apartments.

Booster Pump Kits are available for manual use, automatic filling of reservoirs or sumps, and for use on RO Systems using pressurized holding tanks. Our pump kits include transformers for use on 115 volts AC/60 Hz, or 230 volts AC/50 Hz. The transformer for the 230 volts AC/50 Hz supply has a two pin European plug. Use low flow booster pump kits for systems up to 40 gpd, and high flow booster pump kits for systems up to 100 gpd.

A pressure gauge is necessary to monitor the booster pump pressure. If your systems does not have a pressure gauge, please see the SpectraPure® Pressure Gauge Kit.

  • Increases line pressure to any of SpectraPure® Line Pressure fed RO or DI Systems
  • Add-on to existing RO, RO/DI Drinking Water Systems (DWS) or Permeate Pump Drinking Water Systems (DWS-PP)
  • Boost incoming pressure to 80 psi for enhanced production and increased purity
  • Can be operated in any position
  • Whisper quiet
  • Advanced diaphragm technology and improved bearings extend pump life and lower noise
  • Sealed pump design protects from moisture and prolongs motor life
  • Adjustable pressure output

Manual Operated Booster Pump Kits

The Manual Operated Booster Pump Kits can be used on RO or RO/DI Systems with existing Liquid Level Controllers (LLC) , and the addition of a patch cord (BP-PATCH).

Booster Pump Kit with Electronic Solenoid and Pressure Switch control

This Kit provides an Electronic Solenoid and Pressure Switch to control filling of a pressurized storage tank. (Any RO or RO/DI set-up that currently has an Automatic Shut-Off Valve (ASO), no matter what is used down-stream*, will have the ASO removed and replaced with the Electronic Solenoid.)

* Liquid Level Controllers (LLC), Pressurized Storage Tanks, and Floats

The use of a bladder tank is recommended to prevent excessive cycling of the delivery pump.

*This pump is controlled by a built-in pressure sensing demand switch. When a faucet or valve is opened downstream from the pump, the line pressure drops and the pump automatically starts. Conversely, when the valve closes, the line pressure will increase, turning off the pump automatically.
